Daniel Zagayer
Daniel Zagayer is a film director and cinematographer based in Los Angeles. He graduated from the USC School of Cinematic Arts in 2012. With a keen eye for comedy, he has worked with major brands such as Funny or Die, Yahoo!, and Comedy Central. He is also a skilled sketch writer and improv comedian, having studied at the Upright Citizens Brigade Hollywood. His first feature screenplay, "Poker," was awarded best screenplay and a scholarship to the USC Screenwriting program. Daniel has produced and directed countless short films, showcasing his creativity and versatility as a director. He has also worked as a cinematographer for major networks such as Discovery Channel, Travel Channel, Nat Geo, and History Channel, as well as HBO, Hulu, and Netflix, filming in over 50 countries around the world. His unique combination of classic film studies, comedy/improvisation, and documentary filmmaking has shaped him into a fast-moving, versatile director dedicated to pushing the boundaries of storytelling in whatever direction inspires him next.
